Mandate

The Machine Physics Interface section ensures the liaison with the LHC accelerator and with the forward physics experiments (TOTEM and LHCf), the coordination of the integration of the forward detectors for the experiments (Roman Pots, Zero Degree Calorimeters), as well as simulations of machine-induced backgrounds in the experimental areas.

Section meeting takes place every two weeks on Monday morning at 9H30 in the 530-R-030 conference room.
